Inside Out

DesignInspire was a 3 day exhibition event set in Hong Kong and dedicated to promoting the design industry. The event organizer requested an eco-friendly approach into elevating the show spatial design. From this, a new set of rules were devised for the design, these include minimizing onsite waste, repurposing materials once the show was over and avoiding creating unwanted material offcuts. Under the concept Inside Out plywood and hired scaffolding were predominantly used. The result was a raw and neutral look that juxtaposed the organizer's graphics and the exhibitors' contents.

Fresh Blood Dg Youth

The youth culture of Dongguan combines six exhibitors. Six kinds of special food have been adopted to represent six cultural youths, which is amusing and fashionable. The exhibition is like a vegetable market, which metaphorically expresses the daily cultural characteristics, and reflects the young fresh culture and the daily design power contained in Dongguan.

Chic HK 2020

Created as a promotional event, Chic HK was aimed at helping 80 Hong Kong companies test South China local consumer market with its lifestyle offerings. Covering an area of 9000sqm and held for 4 days at the Nan Fung International Convention and Exhibition Center, Guangzhou, China. The design concept for this event was to amalgamate traditional and simplified Chinese characters to make a new typography for the naming of the show. To make the event promotion stand out and highlight the vibrant and unique lifestyle brands of Hong Kong, primary colours were integrated to the event visuals.

Miro Distributed 2020

Distributed 2020 is an online event that had more than 30K registrants. The 55 virtual interactive & engaging boards were created for guests to use during the conference, to help them learn, network, and attend workshops. The experience designed was based on Space Theme which was highly appreciated by attendees. The participants had the pleasure to navigate from planet to planet to enter key event locations to explore and engage.

Pop Pop

It was a winter season project for the spatial experience design of Lotte Duty-Free that combined cultural elements with retail space to deliver more than a shopping experience. Designers suggested a story that reminds them of precious moments of travel with a seasonal space direction and product design for travel goods. The illustrations by Dutch artist Jordy Van Den Nieubdijk portrayed the winter in Santa Village. The illustrations represented the theme in an elaborate process like completing a picture with hundreds of puzzle pieces.

Capsules of Wonder

Located separately in a specialized hall at the Hong Kong Watch and Clock Fair, the Salon de TE was created as a marketing component accessible to both public and media. It would contain 4 zones showcasing over 140 international watch brands. To differentiate the Salon de TE apart, the event organizer requested an 1800 square meter introductory passageway design. From this, an interactive experience to engage the visitors was created under the concept Capsules of Wonder. Besides this challenge, only 3 days were allowed for the onsite production.
